Library Instruction Round Table Home Page -- Promoting library instruction in school, public, special and academic libraries

Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT) is a roundtable of the American Library Association and advocates library instruction as a means for developing competent library and information use as a part of lifelong learning. LIRT membership represents all types of libraries (academic, public, school, and special) committed to this goal.

NOTE: Most content for the LIRT website is now housed at ALA: The majority of the links on this main page now go to content at the ALA site. Links on this main page that remain associated with the Baylor website are still in place because the content has not yet been moved or because it is outdated content and most likely will not be moved to the site at ALA.
